From the time I started writing my first book in 2006 to today, it has been fourteen years, thirteen years in total, eleven books (one of which is not under this name, but I won’t say which one, it has been 404ed anyway, and you can’t find it.), more than twenty-four million words.

Fourteen years is enough for a child to grow from birth to middle school.

I have also been running all the way from a handsome young man in his twenties to a bald and greasy middle-aged uncle in his forties.

I have been writing diligently since 2009 until today, and I have basically never stopped.

In recent years, various professional problems have begun to come to me. For example, recently, my right thumb hurts a lot because I probably typed too many spaces, and I don’t want to look at it, for fear of delaying my writing.

Of course, problems are more caused by my own carelessness, and have little to do with the writing profession itself. If you don’t know how to take care of yourself, don’t find excuses to blame the industry. Although writing is tiring, I think it is still good.

It is this industry that allows me to support my family and live a relatively decent life. So I am grateful to Qidian and Baoye Yige for leading this era.

If there is no such industry, I don’t know what I am doing. Maybe with my own cleverness, I can also make a living, but it is almost certain that it will not be as good as it is now.

The world view of the book "The Great Talisman Master" was probably formed in 2015. I remember chatting with Feng Ling at that time, and I said how about writing a book about driving a sports car and playing with flying swords? He scolded me for being mentally ill, who would read such a weird thing?

I thought it made sense. At that time, writing this style of writing was indeed not mature enough, so I wrote the fantasy theme "Slaying Heaven Blade" which I was good at.

Later, when I opened Wujiang, the spiritual energy revival flow had just started.

When I started the book, I was still confident. I felt that I could balance the urban and fantasy and combine them perfectly.

As a result, I became more and more afraid to write.

Later, a series of events that happened in the past two years also confirmed that my fear was not unreasonable. Urban themes are too sensitive. I believe that I am not the only one who feels this way. Every author who writes about urban themes should feel this way.

It's like walking on thin ice!

So Wujiang quickly turned from the urban map back to the traditional fantasy map. This also led to the collapse of the content to a certain extent. This is also related to my own poor handling.

In addition, various big and small things happened in my life at that time. As a middle-aged person, I have old people and young children, and my family and career are in turmoil. So Wujiang's performance did not meet my own expectations. It's a pity that a theme was wasted.

However, in the world, misfortunes are often accompanied by blessings, and blessings are often accompanied by misfortunes. Every drink and every bite is like destiny.

It is precisely because of Wujiang's failure that my personality has become completely stable. I am very open-minded about everything. If it is not written well, it is not written well. I will come back with a new book.

Just like joking with other writer friends on weekdays, I said that I have been writing books for more than ten years. If I could become popular, I would have become popular a long time ago. Why would I wait until today? It is really limited in ability. I have relied on hard work to support myself over the years.

They all think I am too modest. Actually, I am not. That is what I think.

Ability is called talent. It is a gift from God. You should have as much as you deserve. Just like Xiao Bai, don't ask him why his mental power is so high. It is high! It is a gift from God! There is no reason to find a perfect logic for his super high mental power. There is no logic.

Like many writer friends, what they write is beautiful, and they are talented and gifted. This is something that cannot be envied.

If you are not as capable as others, there is nothing you can do about it, and it is not a shameful thing. But if your writing attitude is not correct, then it is your own problem. So you must be diligent when you should be diligent.

The story of the great talisman master was probably written at the beginning of last year, and the earliest creative record of the document was probably at that time.

The pace of the Great Talisman Master is not fast. This is also my intentional writing. The reason is very simple. Most of my previous books were fast-paced. I felt uncomfortable if I didn’t pretend to be cool and slap my face in the first few chapters.

But for this book, I just want to tell a story quietly, using a step-by-step approach to keep pushing it forward.

Foreplay should be done well.

This book is not a pseudo-waste book. Xiaobai is a genius from beginning to end, and he is not happy to be sealed. That’s why he is so wild in the black domain, and he will be more and more wild.

This book is also the one I have put the most effort into in recent years. Before, my habit of writing books was not to revise the manuscripts. It was all based on my feelings. I wrote it.

The Great Talisman Master is not only written very slowly, but the time for revision is almost the same as the time for writing. So I have no drafts saved at all.

This is true. After writing these eight chapters today, I still have several thousand words on hand, all of which I worked hard to write in the past few days.

I want to do the character setting little by little, improve the world view little by little, and tell the story little by little. I want to use the greatest patience to present a complete world and tell a complete story that belongs to Xiaobai and his companions.
