Chapter 645 Do You Still Want to Hear that Answer? Hermione? (Third Update)

"You rejected him, didn't you? So he had no choice but to come to me..." Luna explained.

I didn't say no!

Hermione was about to retort, but in the end she couldn't say the words.

Because some time ago, I was deliberately avoiding Ivan because of Legilimency...

Perhaps in Ivan's eyes, this is no different from direct rejection.

Thinking of this, Hermione pursed her lips, looked at Luna with complicated eyes, and asked hesitantly. "He read your memories?"

"Yes, this is very interesting!" Luna nodded happily.

She doesn't think it's embarrassing to share a memory.

"Then why did you give me this notebook?" Hermione asked in confusion. Since Luna didn't hate having Ivan check her memory, why not continue.

"I think you need it more than I do, don't you?" Luna pointed to the books in Hermione's arms. The cover of one of the books was exposed, which read "The Power of the Mind - —How to protect your brain.

Hermione subconsciously hugged the book in her arms tightly, and her face suddenly turned red.

Since Ivan checked her memory last time, she has been teaching herself how to protect her brain, in order to help Ivan practice Legilimency while retaining key memories.

Unfortunately, the practice of Occlumency is very difficult. She spent several weeks but made no obvious progress, so she kept avoiding Ivan.

"You gave it to me, what did you do?" Hermione looked at the notebook in front of her again and couldn't help but said.

She knew very well that this was not just a notebook, but it also meant that Luna had given herself the opportunity to accompany Ivan to practice magic.

"Do you know what I saw in his memory?" Luna did not respond directly, but continued to ask.

Hermione shook her head.

"I saw that he likes you..." Luna revealed the answer straightforwardly.

"Wha...what?" Hermione looked at Luna with wide eyes and said hesitantly. She could hardly believe that this sentence would come out of the other person's mouth.

Luna didn't seem to want to repeat it again. She pointed to the foyer and said in that ethereal voice. "He just went to the auditorium to look for you. I think you guys just missed it..."

Hermione looked at Luna in surprise, and after a while, she whispered. "Thanks…"

She realized that she might have misunderstood the relationship between Luna and Ivan. If the other party really liked Ivan, he would never be so calm and let Ivan check the memories in his brain.

Thinking of this, Hermione's gaze towards Luna became softer and softer, and her previous hostility turned into sincere gratitude. After thanking her again, she hurriedly turned around and ran towards the auditorium.

However, when Hermione entered the foyer, she was surprised not to see Ivan here. Just when she was wondering if Ivan had left after waiting too long, she suddenly felt someone tapping her from behind.

Hermione was startled, and turned her head in panic only to realize that it was Ivan standing behind her.

"Come on, follow me!" Ivan held Hermione's hand without saying a word, and without even waiting for a response, he pulled her and ran towards the tower.

The little witch stumbled and ran with Ivan. The touch of her fingertips interlaced made her heart beat fast. She did not ask where Ivan was taking her because she could no longer think about this in her head. .

"Okay, this is it!" Ivan and Hermione stopped in front of a classroom.

Only then did Hermione dare to ask in a low voice, "What are we doing here?"

"Don't you know it when you go in?" Ivan smiled, opened the door with a wave of his wand, and walked in holding Hermione's hand.

There was no light in the classroom, and the darkness was a bit scary, but Hermione was not afraid, and just quietly held the hand held by Ivan tightly.

The door to the room was quickly closed. After about ten seconds, a little starlight suddenly flashed in the dark space, and then the candles were lit up one by one, and the surrounding area became brighter.

Only then did Hermione realize that this place didn't look like a classroom at all. Large bouquets of flowers decorated the surroundings, the floor was covered with warm-colored carpets, and golden and red ribbons were flying in the air. It looked like a small auditorium. .

And Ivan was like a conductor in a concert hall. He waved his magic wand gently, and the melodious sound of the organ gradually sounded, and several Christmas trees placed around him were lit up one by one.

What surprised Hermione even more was that hundreds of "flower fairies" with pointed ears flew out of the Christmas tree. They were about half the size of a palm and looked like young girls with transparent wings, surrounding them. The two of them danced to the music.

"Ah, what is this?" Hermione stretched out her hand curiously, and a "Flower Fairy" happened to fall on her palm.

"Zongxian!" Ivan replied with a smile.

This magical creature that does not exist at all was naturally created by his transformation spell, but due to too many transformations at once, it could only last for about half an hour.

"They are so beautiful!" Hermione gently raised her hand and let the fairy fly to the sky again, her brows filled with joy.

"Is that so?" Ivan turned his head and looked at Hermione and said seriously. "I don't think they're as pretty as you!"

Hearing Ivan's straightforward words for the first time, Hermione's cheeks turned slightly crimson. She avoided Ivan's sight in embarrassment, pretending to admire the immortal.

But after Ivan called her name, the little witch turned her head immediately, and then their eyes intertwined.

This time Hermione did not avoid looking at Ivan, even though her eyes were still a little shy and uneasy, they were surprisingly firm.

Because she felt the deep affection from Ivan's eyes...

"I'm sorry, Hermione!"

"I'm sorry, Ivan!"

As if they were connected, two voices sounded simultaneously in the classroom decorated like a garden.

A slight awkward atmosphere spread between the two, but it quickly disappeared.

"You'd better say it first!" After a moment of silence, Hermione said softly.

Ivan nodded and asked. "You asked me last time why I chose to invite you to the prom... I think I can answer you now!"

Seeing Ivan mention this matter, Hermione seemed a little embarrassed. She had realized how unreasonable the question she asked was, so she whispered. "I don't care about that anymore..."

"Then you still want to hear the answer?" Ivan asked with a smile.

Hermione stared straight at Ivan to confirm that he really didn't mind, and then nodded.
