Chapter 395 The Elf in the Rain

"If Harry, Ron, I, and I hadn't been covering for you, the professors would have discovered that you were not in the castle yesterday!" Hermione added.

"Is that so? Thank you so much, Hermione!" Ivan said very gratefully. No wonder Professor McGonagall didn't know that he didn't go to the auditorium last night. It turned out that Hermione and others were covering for him.

"So where have you been?" Hermione looked at Ivan very dissatisfied. Ivan didn't come back for a long time yesterday. She almost thought that Ivan had met Sirius and suffered an accident.

If she hadn't seen how powerful Ivan was and how easily he could deal with a large number of dementors and dark wizards, she would have almost been tempted to tell the professors about Ivan's disappearance.

"Wait a minute, aren't you going to find Sirius?" Hermione suddenly thought of something, lowered her voice and asked.

Hearing Hermione's guess, Ivan's pupils tightened. Fortunately, he had experienced strong winds and waves, and his acting skills were practiced in front of Dumbledore, so even though he was surprised, his expression remained unchanged.

"Why do you think so?" Ivan asked pretending to be confused.

"I remember you told George and Fred a few days ago that you would find a way to earn back all the academy points we deducted, so I think you must have gone to find Sirius and want to catch him alone. Isn't that right?" Hermione stared at Ivan closely, analyzing incessantly.

Ivan couldn't laugh or cry for a moment. He didn't expect that Hermione would doubt him because of those few words.

After thinking about it, Ivan shook his head and objected. "I was just looking for a place to practice magic yesterday, don't think too much about it."

"Really?" Hermione was suspicious and wanted to see something from Ivan's expression, but Ivan pretended very well and she didn't notice anything. Hermione had to give up and not continue to ask.

Ivan secretly breathed a sigh of relief. It wasn't that he didn't want to reveal the matter of Sirius and Peter to Hermione, but that he was worried that Hermione would not be able to hide it after learning that Ron's pet rat Scabbers was actually a vicious thug. If you don't control your emotions, if Peter sees something, it will be troublesome.

Thinking of this, Ivan turned his head and looked at Ron again.

Because Crookshanks had been thinking about Scabbers, Ron deliberately took his precious mouse and sat far away from them. It was unlikely that he could hear the conversation between him and Hermione in a deliberately lowered voice.

When Ivan looked back again, the Quidditch match had already begun.

The members of the two teams flew out of the tunnel on broomsticks, and warm applause erupted from all around the stands. Countless colorful flags were fluttering in the wind and rain, and the little wizards shouted loudly to cheer for the teams of their own colleges. Encourage, no matter how strong the wind and rain are, it can't dampen everyone's enthusiasm.

"Come on Gryffindor!"

"Harry Potter will win!"

"Digory you're the best!"

There were constant shouts on the field that even drowned out the roaring lightning. No matter how many times Ivan watched it, Ivan was always speechless. As a time traveler, he simply couldn't understand why wizards were so enthusiastic about Quidditch.

This has to catch up with the Muggle football games.

But it's normal if you think about it carefully, because there seems to be only one large-scale magic sport in the entire magic world, and wizards have no other choice.

"Hey, why are there people cheering me on? I'm not participating."

Ivan glanced over and suddenly found that one of the wooden boards held high said "Come on Ivan Hals", and there were some strange pictures on it.

Ivan squinted his eyes, looked in the direction of the wooden sign, and found a familiar figure.

"Luna?" Ivan said in surprise.

Luna, whom she hadn't seen for a long time, was sitting on a high platform without a baffle, and she didn't put on a raincoat or hat.

Continuous raindrops flowed from the tips of her hair and the top of her head over her delicate face, and then dripped onto her clothes. The little witch was soaked but didn't care, holding up the big wooden sign leisurely and contentedly. The torrential rain was blown by the strong wind, and it looked like a fairy in the rain.

Ivan didn't know what to say for a moment, Luna's behavior was always so unexpected

However, Ivan soon discovered that Luna was not unprepared. Her clothes looked very thick and warm, and were probably waterproof. But how could anyone take the initiative to sit on a high platform and get soaked in the rain on a stormy day?

Perhaps sensing that Ivan was not in the Gryffindor team, Luna quickly put down the sign she was holding high and hugged it in her arms. A pair of bright eyes curiously scanned the stands. Then, after a moment, he and Ivan looked at each other.

Since they were far apart, Ivan had to try to use his mouth to tell Luna to take shelter from the rain, so as not to catch a cold!

Immediately afterwards, Ivan thought that it was impossible for Luna to see what he wanted to express clearly from such a distance, so he stood up and went over there to remind her.

However, before Ivan could take action, he saw Luna holding the sign and leaving the original position. She waved to him before leaving, presumably to take shelter from the rain.

"Ivan, what's wrong?" Hermione noticed Ivan's movements and followed his gaze strangely, but saw nothing.

"I happened to see an acquaintance, just saying hello!" Ivan said casually.

acquaintance? That weird Ravenclaw girl?

Noticing that the place Ivan was looking at just now was the area where Ravenclaw students were, Hermione instantly thought of who the acquaintance in Ivan's words was referring to.

The second-grade girl named Luna really made a deep impression on her when she first started school.

At this moment, Ron on the side suddenly shouted excitedly.

"Look! Harry found the Golden Snitch!"

Ron's voice attracted Hermione's attention, and Ivan also looked up to the sky.

A golden light danced in the air and wandered around the field. Harry followed closely behind, speeding through the storm. Everyone's eyes were focused on the Golden Snitch and Harry.

Due to the strong wind and heavy rain blocking their vision, the golden light appeared and disappeared in everyone's sight. They had to concentrate hard to vaguely see where the golden snitch was. If they were distracted, they would definitely not find it.

Ron even noticed that a Gryffindor team member almost hit the wall while wiping because rain had seeped into his eyes, and he complained loudly.

"Damn Slytherin! No wonder they temporarily changed the game with Hufflepuff. They must have expected the weather today!"

"No matter what, Harry will definitely catch the Golden Snitch!" Hermione said confidently.

Ivan felt faintly uneasy, because Harry's figure in the distance continued to rise while chasing the Golden Snitch, but the sky was strangely dark like night, and something seemed to be surging in the dark clouds.
