Hogwarts Blood Wizard

Chapter 240 Is This the Repair You Are Talking About?

"So you stopped her bleeding?" Madam Pomfrey, who was half-kneeling on the ground, was inspecting the Ravenclaw girl's left hand. She turned her head and said appreciatively.

"You guys did a great job! You saved her life!"

"No, Professor, we didn't do anything." The two boys shook their heads in fear, indicating that this was the case when they first arrived.

"Who could that be?" Madam Pomfrey stood up and asked strangely.

"It can't be the guy who attacked this girl, right?" Lockhart said a joke thinking he was humorous.

"It's possible!" Professor McGonagall interrupted.

Several other professors also nodded. They believed that it was a student who attacked the girl. He was probably impulsive, and then he couldn't bear the death of the other person and made remedial action.

Dumbledore was silent for a while, then looked at the two Ravenclaw boys and asked.

"Did you notice anything unusual when you came here? For example, you heard noises, or there were other people around here."

The two Ravenclaw boys remembered the noise they had heard earlier and reported it to Dumbledore truthfully.

"Is that so? It seems like someone is in a hurry to cover up something. Why don't we restore it with a restoration spell?" Professor McGonagall also noticed traces of damage to the wall by the spell, and raised her wand to cast a spell.

Ivan watched with his heart in his throat. He couldn't imagine what everyone would think when they looked at his name on it after the handwriting was restored.

How should he explain?

He refused to admit it and insisted that he had never been here. The writing and damage on the wall were all done by the person who framed him.

Or should he admit it directly and say that after arriving at the scene, he rescued the girl immediately, and then found that someone was planning to frame him, so he destroyed the wall and hid?

Both explanations appear to be empty and weak.

Ivan seemed to see the sixteen-year-old Slytherin boy smirking at him.

He finally realized why Tom Riddle placed this girl on the eighth floor.

Because behind this corridor is the Room of Requirement, he basically goes there at this time every day. The other party put this girl there deliberately for him to find.

If a student who didn't know healing magic encountered this situation, he could only watch the Ravenclaw girl die, and then immediately want to erase the writing on the wall.

As the mastermind behind the scenes, Tom Riddle only needs to let the students he controls happen to appear here with someone, and he can complete a perfect frame-up after seeing all this.

Ivan knew that although he had avoided the worst situation, he still had not escaped Tom Riddle's trap.

Unless I can clean up all traces in a short period of time and move away the Ravenclaw girl who was lying in a pool of blood, nothing can be done to remove the suspicion.

Ivan kept thinking about how he should explain it later.

Just then Lockhart's voice sounded.

"It's better to let me come. I'm afraid there is no one here who is better at doing this kind of repair work than me!" Lockhart waved his wand before Professor McGonagall.

A red magic ray hit the wall, followed by a violent roar. A big hole appeared on the wall of the corridor, and dust fell from the sky.

"Is this what you call a repair? There's nothing there now," Snape said sarcastically.

Everyone stared at this scene blankly, and several professors looked at Lockhart with strange eyes, who looked at a loss.

Dumbledore took a step forward at this moment, pulled out the Elder Wand from his sleeve, and with a wave, all the gravel and ash on the ground bonded back to the wall.

However, a lot of the gravel has been stained with blood on the ground, and since Ivan used the Clean Water Spring Curse to clean it at the beginning, the handwriting on it is completely indistinguishable.

Ivan finally breathed a sigh of relief. He had never been so lucky.

Dumbledore also frowned when he saw this situation. He glanced at Lockhart dissatisfied, then turned around and said to the two Ravenclaw boys.

"Mr. Abel, Mr. Adrian, please come with me!"

Dumbledore took the two of them away, and several professors maintained order and asked the young wizards gathered here to quickly return to their dormitories. Madam Pomfrey took the unconscious Ravenclaw girl to the school hospital.

Ivan managed to escape, but he was not happy at all.

If Tom Riddle can carry out a similar attack once, he will probably do it a second or third time!

Ivan doesn't think he can be so lucky every time.

The only way is to find the person holding the diary before the next attack!

"Hals, how about you come and sit in my office later?" Just as Ivan was thinking about it, Lockhart suddenly caught up with him from behind and patted him on the shoulder.

"Okay!" Ivan looked at him for a while and nodded.

Entering Lockhart's office again, Ivan looked around. There were some books piled on the table, all of which were magic books.

When Ivan came back last time, Ivan saw these books on Lockhart's table and thought he was having a three-minute fever, but he didn't expect that they are still there to this day.

"Can you cast magic normally now?" Ivan asked curiously. Didn't he remember that Lockhart would go berserk when he cast magic? Reading these books doesn’t seem to be of much use, right?

"No, but if I only practice one spell for a while, I might be able to use it as well as my Oblivion Curse." Lockhart shook his head and said helplessly.

Then, Lockhart said again without giving up. "Hals, do you really have no way to quickly improve your strength?"

"I think I've said it before, no!" Ivan shook his head.

"You are doing very well now. Improve your magic knowledge and spend all the time you spend replying to fans on practicing magic. In a few years, you should be able to return to the spell-casting ability that a normal wizard should have." Yi Fan added.

"Spending a whole few years just to become an ordinary wizard? That's not what I want!" Lockhart was very disappointed.

But Lockhart soon adjusted and got down to business, which was the matter of exchanging identities at tomorrow's Duel Club as previously agreed.

Only then did Ivan remember this matter. If Lockhart hadn't mentioned it, he would have almost forgotten it.

However, Ivan hesitated and did not refuse, because this meant that he could use his status as a professor to contact most of the students and check whether they were suspicious.
