Chapter 18 The Rejected Duel
The afternoon flight lesson passed quickly with Ivan struggling. Fortunately, everything went smoothly afterwards. Ivan was the first student to complete the flight training.
Ivan also paid special attention to Malfoy and carefully told him to be careful when flying and never fall from the sky again.
Mrs. Hoch, who was in the distance, saw Ivan's performance in her eyes, and her evaluation of Ivan improved a bit.
The young wizards of Gryffindor and Slytherin have never dealt with them. In her opinion, it is very rare for Ivan to put aside his prejudice and care about Malfoy so much.
Malfoy was so angry that he threatened to perform a difficult flying maneuver for everyone to prove his skills. Unfortunately, Mrs. Hoch stopped him in time before he could finish his words.
After all, Malfoy had a history of falling, and Mrs. Hoch was still a little worried that something bad might happen to him, and even refused to allow Malfoy to fly on his broom again during this class.
[Ding, the flight lesson is over. The comprehensive evaluation of this class is: Excellent.

Ivan, who was walking in the corridor, finally breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the final class evaluation. Even if Malfoy, a naughty kid, made trouble, he still achieved his expected goal.
Relatively speaking, Ron and Hermione were not in a good mood. Both of them were worried about Harry being taken away by Professor McGonagall.
Especially Hermione, who has not calmed down until now. As soon as get out of class was over, she couldn't help but ran to Ivan and talked nonchalantly.
"I think we should tell Professor McGonagall and Mrs. Hoch the truth! Otherwise, what will happen if Harry is expelled?"
Ivan stopped and looked at Hermione.
"No, Professor McGonagall won't fire Harry just because of this trivial matter. Maybe it's because Harry flew well just now, so Professor McGonagall plans to let Harry join the Quidditch team."
"If you want to join the Quidditch team, you must be at least a second-year student!" Hermione corrected the mistakes in Ivan's words.
"Everything has exceptions, and not every little wizard can fly as well as Harry when he first learns." Ivan said with a smile.
Hermione thought about it, and it seemed that this was really possible. Ron's eyes also lit up, and they discussed the possibility of Harry joining the Quidditch team. If Harry could join, Ron felt that he should OK
By the time the trio arrived in the Great Hall to enjoy dinner, Harry was already sitting there. Before they could go there, Harry had already come up to them and couldn't wait to tell Professor McGonagall that he had been asked to serve as a Seeker. Speak up.
Although Ivan had vaccinated the two of them in advance, they were still very surprised, especially Ron, who was extremely excited.
"Harry, I didn't expect you to actually join the Quidditch team. You may be the youngest seeker in the history of Hogwarts! I mean, do they still lack manpower? For example, a batter or a goalkeeper? "?" Ron looked at Harry expectantly, hoping to hear some good news.
"No, I heard from Wood that we already have enough manpower." Harry shook his head in embarrassment. He didn't understand why Ron could be so excited. He had only heard about the Quidditch match today, and he didn't even know what it was. What's going on?
"By the way, Ivan, what happened in the flying class today?" Harry turned and looked at Ivan depressedly.
"Didn't Malfoy take Neville's crystal ball? And then I chased after him? When did it become that we were training with Malfoy?"
When he was taken away by Professor McGonagall, Harry was so frightened that he even thought that he was going to be expelled from Hogwarts and returned to the dirty and small cupboard at his uncle's house. Fortunately, The situation was not as bad as he thought.
Ivan didn't mean to hide it, and told him that he used the petrification spell to attack Malfoy, which made him look ugly.
"If I were to expose Malfoy, I would have to be imprisoned with him. He has been taught enough lessons anyway, hasn't he?" Ivan spread his hands and said.
Ron also made a fuss about Malfoy being tricked by Ivan during the flying class and making him laugh.
Only Hermione was still concerned about everyone's violation of school rules. When she saw Ivan and the others chatting happily, she turned around and left angrily.
Ivan thought about it but still didn't say anything to stop her. Hermione's temper was going to change.
Of course, this does not mean that it is not good to follow the rules, but sometimes it is too rigid to completely fall into this rule without leaving any room.
Just like in the original book, Malfoy, who caused trouble in flying lessons, basically received no punishment.
This was certainly due to Harry's bad luck, as Professor McGonagall didn't give him a chance to explain, but even if Harry explained the reason clearly, Professor McGonagall would most likely deduct the credits of both of them, which is basically not the case for Malfoy. No losses.
At least now Malfoy is very frightened, and I believe he will not dare to cause trouble again in a short time.
Unfortunately, the slap in the face came faster than Ivan expected. Before Ivan could finish his meal, Malfoy brought Crabbe and Goyle to make trouble.
Perhaps because of the presence of two followers, Malfoy returned to his original arrogant appearance, but when he saw Ivan, he felt itchy with hatred.
"Potter, are you eating your last meal? Tomorrow you have to say goodbye to this place and go back to your Muggle world, right?" Malfoy mocked loudly.
Ivan and Harry did not make any move when they heard this. Instead, they looked at Malfoy as if they were a fool. Ron even thought that if he told Harry about becoming a Seeker, Malfoy's expression would be very interesting.
The indifferent attitude of Ivan and others made Malfoy somewhat uneasy, but he gritted his teeth and said what he needed to say.
"Hals, if you have the guts, come to the prize showroom tonight. I want to duel with you!"
However, what Malfoy didn't expect was that Ivan shook his head firmly.
"Don't go!"
What a joke, tonight he is planning to go to the forbidden book area to receive rewards from the system, so why not play dueling games with Malfoy?
Not to mention that Ivan still had the impression that Malfoy was planning to let go this time and then notify Filch to arrest him. He was stupid to get involved in such a thing.
"Hals, are you scared?" Malfoy sneered.
"I have no interest in dueling with my defeated generals. It's such a waste of time." Ivan glanced sideways at Malfoy for a while, looking like he was not interested in the weakling, and said.
"Wait until you learn more advanced magic. Otherwise, if you fall down again, no one will save you."
