Chapter 458 The Storm Is Coming

After a good night's sleep, An Yue woke up the next day feeling very energetic.

In the morning, An Shijue was not there, but someone from the Jiang family came to chat with the old man.

An Yue did not get along with them, so she went out.

She did not have the opportunity to visit Song's mother during the summer vacation, so today was a rare opportunity.

When she arrived at the gate of the community, she called Song's mother.

"Godmother, I'm here to see you. Are you home?"

"An Yue, I'm not at home. I'm out with my friends."

At the Song family, Song's mother hung up the phone, the house was in a mess, and she sat on the ground dejectedly.

"Come to the company." He said.

"No, I want to read here. I'll go back by myself before dinner." An Yue refused.

An Shijue didn't force her.

An Yue hung up the phone, thinking, if he was with Jiang Xinjie, she would become a light bulb again.

She continued to read, and took a taxi back at around five o'clock.

When she got home, Jiang Xinjie was still there, and her parents had gone back.

"An Yue, you're back." Jiang Xinjie looked at her with a smile on her face.

"Sister Xinjie." An Yue nodded slightly.

"Where's your brother?" Jiang Xinjie glanced behind her.

An Yue pursed her lips. Why did she have to come back with her brother? Shouldn't he come back with her?

"Isn't my brother at the company?" she asked.

Jiang Xinjie didn't know what she was thinking of, and smiled: "I thought you were together."

"I was reading in the bookstore this afternoon." An Yue replied.

"Is that so..."

An Yue said a few words to her and went upstairs to change clothes. When she came down again, An Shijue had already returned and dinner was about to start.

At the dinner table, everyone was still talking about the engagement ceremony the day after tomorrow. An Yue kept her head down and didn't say anything. In fact, she couldn't get a word in.

Not long after the meal, the old man suddenly said, "Xinjie, stay at home tonight. Anyway, you will always stay at home in the future, so it doesn't matter if you stay at home for a day or two."

Jiang Xinjie hesitated, "This is not good."

"What's wrong with this!" The old man rejected it.

An Yue glanced at An Shijue, and he looked indifferent, and didn't know what he was thinking.

After dinner, Jiang Xinjie chatted with the old man in the living room. An Yue felt that the house was a bit boring, so she went outside for a walk and reported to Zhou Xiaomin via video.

"I didn't expect your brother to get married so early." Zhou Xiaomin sighed.

An Yue smiled and said, "It's just an engagement now, and the wedding should be next year."

"Tell me honestly, do you feel lost?" Zhou Xiaomin smiled.

"Of course not, I replied to you a long time ago."

Zhou Xiaomin sighed, "Sometimes I really don't know what you are made of. There are so many handsome guys around you, but you don't like any of them."

An Yue felt that what she said was wrong, "Don't talk nonsense, have you found your Mr. Right?"

"I guess he's still in his mother's womb. When I find him, I must beat him up for making me look for so long." Zhou Xiaomin looked angry.

An Yue laughed, "Be careful not to scare him and he won't come to you."

"Don't be such a pessimist!"
